Book your Spanish course in Bogotá

Booking methods

Online booking is via our secure server on ihes.com (the IH Barcelona website).

Alternatively you can download an application form as a .pdf file and send it to us.

All enrolments need to be accompanied by a deposit of 220 US$, which can paid by credit card online (see Online Booking, above); by downloading the application form (above); by bank transfer or by cheque.

Note that the deposit is not a separate registration fee, and is part the total cost of your course. There is no registration fee for our courses

Note

IH Bogotá is a joint-venture with IH Barcelona (Spain).

Enrolments can therefore be sent to either school.

Secure online payment is provided via the IH Barcelona website, ihes.com.

Payment methods

Cheques in US$ should be made payable to International House, and sent to the school address either in Bogotá or in Barcelona. See application form for postal details.

Transfers in US$ can be made to our bank account in Colombia, which has the following number:

Please note that any bank charges incurred on payment of the deposit will be added to the balance of the course fee.

However, we do not charge commission on credit card payments.

Balance of fees

The balance of fees is due at least two weeks before the first day of the course. Payment can be made by cheque, bank transfer or credit card.

Cancellations

Where a cancellation is received 10 days or more before the course is due to start, the deposit is refunded less 120 US$ for expenses.

For cancellations received with less than 10 days notice, the deposit is non-refundable. Once the course has started, the cost of the entire programme (course and accommodation) is non refundable.

Under exceptional circumstances, and at the discretion of the school Director, a student's unused fees can be held on account for up to 12 months. In other words, the unused fees (not including the first week's course & accommodation fees which act as the cancellation fee) can be used to study at any of the International House VIVA Group schools for up to a maximum of 12 months after the cancellation date.

Insurance

We recommend all students take out a course cancellation insurance policy and strongly recommend you to take out comprehensive travel and medical insurance in your country of origin to cover any loss, sickness or accident which may occur during the course.
