About us
Founded in 1953, International House is a global organization dedicated to language teaching and the promotion of intercultural understanding.
The organization focuses on providing high-quality language teaching programs for a variety of languages, including English and Spanish. We also offer wide range of additional services, such as language exam preparation and administration, and teacher training courses.
In addition to its language teaching focus, International House also promotes intercultural understanding and respect, by facilitating interaction between people from different backgrounds and cultures.
Our school in Bogotá
We are located in the “Cedritos” district in the north of Bogotá. Our building offers a number of facilities for students including purpose-built classrooms, and a large roof terrace with a bar, where students can enjoy a coffee or buy a very affordable and nutritious lunch.
The Cedritos district is one of the smarter areas in Bogota and it is full of shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars; and just in case you were wondering, it is also very safe. Our school is close to a number of our host families which will cut down on travelling time, and access to the rest of the city is also very easy as there are various public transport options within walking distance of the school.
